After more than a decade in the same space, the FCC sought to relocate its headquarters to a brand new building in a more advantageous location. With the move, the FCC desired a contemporary work environment that would incorporate more collaborative areas and would better support the varying work styles of its diverse staff. Price Modern and our partners were involved early in the process, allowing our team to assist in finalizing the space plans for the expansive 10-floor project. The FCC desired a balance between privacy and collaboration, resulting in higher workstation panels with the incorporation of glass to ensure there would be ample natural light throughout the space.

Both private offices and workstations include height-adjustable desks and abundant storage solutions to support staff members. The new space also includes a multitude of collaboration and lounge areas for staff to connect and curate a working environment that fits their preferred work style, improving productivity and culture. This project occurred during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, challenging the entire project team to communicate effectively and work in tandem to achieve the FCC’s vision. Price Modern was able to successfully deliver the space while maintaining the original budget. The FCC is now equipped to continue fulfilling the agency’s mission and supporting communities nationwide
