National design firm, HGA, sought to reimagine its DC Metro region
headquarters by moving to the historic Woodies Building. With 16-
foot ceilings and 12-foot windows, the new office space offered HGA
stunning views and plenty of natural light. Price Modern was honored
to be included in the relocation project, assisting the HGA team in
narrowing down furniture selections that would achieve the elegant
and timeless environment they envisioned for the new office.
The Price Modern team worked closely with HGA from the start to
understand how they intended to utilize different space types in their
office—breakout spaces, open-plan workspace, communal areas,
and meeting rooms. To accomplish the collaborative environment
they desired, our team specified myriad solutions for open areas,
huddle rooms, and a large pantry for entertaining. Utilizing Haworth
Compose benching stations with low panel heights also ensured
natural light flooded the space for all users to enjoy.
Not only did HGA seek a beautiful space, but placed great importance
on the use of healthy, sustainable materials wherever possible. Our
team worked closely with HGA to specify furnishings and materials
that would reduce off-gassing or impact staff members with allergies.
The project is slated to earn LEED and WELL certification.
The close coordination between the HGA and Price Modern teams
has resulted in a truly one-of-a-kind space
