Family-owned and operated since 1943, the H&S Bakery is well-known in the community for its history serving exceptional baked goods. After many years of continued success and growth, the Paterakis family sought to expand into the retail and café business with a location in the Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore. Price Modern was honored to partner with the Kneads team in creating their first café that not only serves delicious fare but provides locals with a unique experience.

We worked closely with the Kneads team to specify products that would provide a cozy atmosphere while also withstanding consistent use by customers. To assist with maintaining the budget, our experienced team of designers value engineered several furniture options that aligned with the original design intent, managing the procurement from myriad manufacturers to achieve the desired look and feel. Our team was thrilled to play a part in the creation of this one-of-a-kind café where Baltimore locals can now enjoy delicious artisan creations in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
